I talked with Yolanda today, she is doing great!Wednesday was a rough night for her but she got some good sleep last night. She is up walking 3 times a day and was able to sit in a chair today. Mary her donor went home today and is very thankful to everyone made donations and wel wishes. Yolanda also wanted to thank everyone for their support and prayers! Surgery lasted 5 hours and her surgeon said her organs looked prestine. The surgeon used dissolvable stiches instead of staples to give her minimal scarring. Her creatine is now at 1.2, terrific news!!She has also been able to urinate which is an excellent sign, go Yolanda! On last note, she requested that no flowers be sent as they are not allowed in her room because of the immunity suppressing medications that she is taking. Keep posted for further updates that Yolanda will soon be making.
