Yes, I am still sitting here in the jury assembly room and day dreaming. So as I mentioned in my earlier post, I am hosting the Tumbler Party. During the first round, each party participant sent me 12 fat quarters (yellow, aqua & gray) and I used my Accuquilt Studio cutter to cut the FQ's into tumbler blocks and then put them into a great big pile and sorted them like a deck of cards. The cutting is easy, it was the sorting I found to be time consuming and also relaxing. I have to say I did have fun seeing all the different prints and am tickled with the little scraps of fabric that I ended up with (I'll be cutting what I can into 2.5" sqaures so standby to see what's next). A few of the members sent extras for me to keep too - that was unnecessary but totally cool. I am beginning to see the quilt tops put together and the different layouts and seeing that and the joy everyone else is experiencing in this fun swap makes it worth repeating! I will be asking for RSVP's for the next round later this month. Please join the Flickr group if your interested in attending the party this next round. The colors will be gray, red and brown! Until then check out some of the quilt tops being put together:Nicole, Melissa, Nikki
